KitchenAid Pro 600 Stand Mixer

Capable of handling any task this is the mixer to have, if you do a lot of heavy duty cooking.  This mixer is driven by a powerful 575 watt motor (the largest motor Kitchenaid makes) and can even handle stiff heavy mixtures, like bread dough or mashed potatoes (up to 8 quarts at a time). 

With this powerhouse you can even make cookie dough in double batches; that's 13 dozen cookies per batch.  It comes standard with a 6 quart, stainless steel bowl, large enough for any job; and its high-performance, 67 point, planetary mixing action insures ingredients are thoroughly mixed, without frequent scraping or rotating of the bowl.

KitchenAid Pro 500 5-Quart Stand Mixer

Since 1919 this powerhouse has been a staple of the American kitchen.  This is  a 10 speed, 5 quart, bowl-lift, stand mixer.

The workhorse of the Kitchen Aid appliance line, it is specially engineered to mix, stir, knead or whip up to 4 loaves of bread in one batch or make seven pounds of mashed potatoes in its stainless steel bowl. 

This mixer can easily handle food preparation for large groups, if need be, without even breaking a sweat.  The Pro 500 comes with the "C" shaped dough hook, a flat beater and wire whisk.

With the dough hook you can quickly mix and knead up to nine cups of flour for bread dough, coffee cakes or pizza crust.  The flat beater is used to stir normal to heavy mixtures like cakes, mashed potatoes or cookie dough. 

The wire whip is for light beating to add air to such things as whipped cream or silky icings.  With optional attachments (available separately), this is truly the only mixer you will ever need.
